As you know, Van Gogh is a really shy cat who hides all the time and has low self-esteem.... kidding! He asked us, his lowly staff, if we could type up this post about why he should be adopted. So, get ready for the awesomeness known as Van Gogh!

Ahem... is this thing on? Testing testing. For those who don't know me, I am Van Gogh. I am an incredibly handsome eight-year-old brown tabby with striking green eyes that seem to pierce right through you. I came to The Kitty Beautiful to find a family and have been there for quite some time now (not as long as Delilah, but close). The staff here have grown quite fond of me. (Note from staff: it's true! We are extremely fond of him!). The cats are in awe of me (except for Bongo... but I see him as an equal). They say I bring joy and laughter to their lives with my quirky personality and my very unique charm. And while they will be sad to see me go, they know that it is time for me to find my forever home. The staff at The Kitty Beautiful have taken great care of me, ensuring that I am happy and healthy and that I always get dinner on time. They have provided me with cozy beds to nap in, delicious meals to enjoy (love, love wet food!), and plenty of toys to play with. Despite all their efforts, they know, and I know that I am meant for bigger and better things. I deserve a home where I can truly be the center of attention, where I can reign supreme as the king of the household and not have to share that title with Bongo any longer. I have always known that I am destined for greatness. After all, I am not just any ordinary cat. I am Van Gogh, a cat with a name that demands respect and admiration. I also have part of my ear missing, like my namesake. I promise you this, the family that adopts me will be the envy of all their friends and neighbors, and every person they meet (of which you will show off the thousands of pictures that you have of me on your phone - those will be some lucky strangers). You will be the lucky ones who get to bask in my regal presence day in and day out. But before you decide to bring me into your home, there are a few things you should know. I am a cat who knows what he wants and when he wants it. I will allow you to pet me on my terms (or if you are feeding me a squeezie, yum!). I may not be the most affectionate feline around, but when I do choose to grace you with my presence, consider yourself lucky. It means that I trust you, and that is no small feat. Of course, there are plenty of other perks to having me in your life. I am a cat of impeccable taste and style, although I don't wear a tie. (Unlike like some cats who shall remain anonymous... Bongo...). I like long walks on the beach and margaritas.... wait, no I don't. Actually, I enjoy lounging in my cat bed, posing for photos, and indulging in the finer things in life. And while I may not be a cuddler, I am a cat of many talents. I am an expert at staring off into space, entertaining myself by judging those around me, and giving my humans plenty of material to write about. (Note from staff: we love writing about Van Gogh. He is so inspirational!) So, are you ready to adopt me? Are you ready to welcome a cat of my caliber into your home and into your heart? If so, then get ready for a life of luxury and excitement, because with me by your side, every day will be an adventure. Just remember, I am not just any cat. I am Van Gogh, and I am looking for a home to call my own.

This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.

Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions, please email us at catscaninc@gmail.com
