Jellicle Cat showed up in the yard of a volunteer and asked for a home. Since she already had enough kitties, she is fostering him while looking for a permanent place. Jellicle Cat is a bit shy at first, but sweet once he relaxes. He can be quite talkative, too! While he has his snuggly moments, he really prefers to play. Wands with feathers on the end are his favorite. Plumbing fascinates him, he loves to watch the water swirl in the toilet and it is a good thing he has not figured out how to flush! Jellicle Cat likes children who understand the importance of being gentle. He also gets along with other cats, and would do best with one who is young enough to play with him.
The name Jellicle Cat comes from a TS Eliot poem and Broadway musical. His foster parents usually just call him “Jay” for short.
