A volunteer was trapping stray cats to be spayed/neutered and returned to their outdoor home when this sweet girl approached and asked to be rescued. At the time, the kitty had a respiratory and eye infection. Another volunteer took the kitty into her home to restore her health. Because she had a regal bearing for a young kitten, she was named after a 12th century empress. Called Tilly for short, this kitty may be a bit hesitant in new situations, but is very sweet once she has a chance to settle. When her foster mom is sitting and reading, Tilly will come up for petting and nuzzle her face. Tilly also likes to hang out on her foster mom's and foster dad's desks while they work - sometimes playing with desk toys. Tilly gets along well with all of the other cats in her foster home.
Tilly has a minor issue with one of her eyes that has been addressed by veterinary care. She is able to see and there is no indication it affects her temperament or overall health.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
