Juno is a very sweet friendly cat. She was skin and bones when she was rescued. She was taking care of her six five-week-old kittens and probably not eating very well herself. In the two weeks I’ve had her, she is gaining weight and has a very healthy appetite. She’s very vocal, likes to tell me all about her day, and lets me know when she wants more food (which is most of the time). She had not had any litter box issues, has been good with staying off the counters and tables, except for the vacuum running then she hid on the counter, and has been mostly okay with my cats. She’s only been hissy and growls when her kittens are present. I think with time, she will be fine in a house with other pets. Even though she has probably spent her entire young life outside, she has had no interest in trying to run out the front door, she actually backs away when the door opens as if to say ‘Nope, not going out there ever again.’ She’s been such a good girl and is finally starting to join me on the couch and feel comfortable not always having to be on guard.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
