On April 23rd, a kind woman came into Petsmart in tears. She had found these three little newborns and could not trap the momma. She needed help desperately, the kittens were not doing well. She had been turned down by other rescues. They told her to find the momma and sent her away. The kittens' body temperature was very low. Our volunteers at Petsmart helped to try to warm them in their hands. A foster that was volunteering that day took them home, hoping to get them on a heating pad immediiately in time to warm them up and feed them. They were very dehydrated- tiny little undernourished bodies with big eyes open already. They must have been at least ten days old, but weighed only the size of a newborn- 4 ounces. Unfortunately the little boy passed within the hour, however the two girls were little fighters and survived. They were bottle fed for the first week in foster care and then surrogated by a cat momma named Butter who had 5 babies of her own. Apple and her sister Almond are the sweetest, most adorable little kittens- they give kisses and only want to be near humans. they think their foster mom is their momma!
Adoption fee is only $95.00 and kittens will come with spay, first set shots, tested for feline diseases, flea treatment, nails trimmed and a microchip. We always encourage adopters to get two kittens - they have lots of energy and enjoy a playmate. We offer a special discount: two kittens for only $110.00.
