Penguin was rescued just outside of the Snip-it clinic in Kissimmee by an extraordinary homeless person who obviously loves animals. The gentleman advised the clinic staff that a kitten was outside and the kitten appeared to be having a very serious problem. Obviously, Penguin must have been owned by someone as he was wearing a collar. Unfortunately prior to being found, Penguin had tried to remove the collar himself and ending up getting his entire right front leg through the collar. Having the collar around his neck and leg resulted in an extremely large cut under his leg next to his body. He was immediately given medical treatment by the Snip-it staff and veterinarian Dr. Mary Bilodeau with the hopes that his leg would not have to be removed. Unfortunately, the incision could not heal and Penguin’s leg had to be removed. He is an “over the top” handsome black and white tuxedo kitten and purrs continuously perhaps from being extremely grateful for being rescued and medically repaired. Penguin will provide your family with an incredible amount of unconditional love furever. He is a very very special foster favorite!
Penguin is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been neutered.
