Purrmela and her sister were prowling about a local business and setting off the motion sensors. That seems comical, but the business was not amused when they received the bill from the Sheriff’s Office for the false alarm calls. The business trapped the young kittens and were going to take them to a kill shelter – definitely not funny – when a rescuer agreed to take them. Originally, intended for a feral/barn cat program, the rescuer soon realized that the kitten is a little purr machine. Although nervous in new situation, Purrmela is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She will sometimes even “nurse” on her favorite fleecy blanket. Purrmela also loves to play with a variety of different toys. With a little patience to help her when she’s startled, Purrmela will be a playful and loving companion. Take her home and see how much entertainment she provides! She gets along with the other cats in her foster home and has shown tolerance for small children at Adoption Events.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
