This is Mack, and he recently had the worst day of his life. Quite unexpectedly, his owner for the past 12 years, passed away. The pet sitter found his owner and 911 was called. It was too late though. The owner’s brother, who lives on the west coast, told the police to just take the cat to a shelter. Thankfully, he realized he may have been hasty and gave the pet sitting company, authorization to collect Mack from the shelter. Mack is currently staying with his pet sitter and is trying to settle in.
He has been the only cat, belonging to a retired man for a long time, so the dogs and cats at the sitter’s house kind of scare him. Mack is a little shy by nature, but he does warm up and his human loved him very much. Mack would do best being the only pet. He is used to having someone home a lot, he would probably be a great companion for someone who is retired or who works from home. He doesn’t have any health issues.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
