Birch is a beautiful light grey tabby. He is smart, curious, and likes to play with his siblings. He likes the red dot, or the dangling pinata and is quick to socialize with other cats. Birch and his 3 siblings were originally from an outdoor family. When he was found, they decided that he would be able to make it inside with a new family that understands he still feels a little “stranger danger” panic. He will fearlessly play with you when you are dangling a toy or move the red dot around, and will lounge around the room near you, but he is still averse to being picked up. Like his brother Ash, Birch is most confident when eating his wet food. He doesn’t mind you petting him or playing with his ears at this time and enjoys this bonding time. He is quick to arrive at the buffet table when it is mealtime. Birch would make a fine addition to a household that understands he will probably never be a lap cat and requires a little patience in drawing his loving side out.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
