Hi! I’m Athrit, and I’m a big orange bundle of joy. My name means ‘sun’ and I was given it because of my colour and my nature. Our fosters were called to a Buddhist temple to help with a mama cat and a lot of kittens. They found two 8-week-old kittens, siblings, and us. We were with our mom and there are nine of us. But our fosters quickly worked out that our mom was nursing two litters. Some of us were three weeks old and some five weeks old, so she did not give birth to us all and nobody knows if us bigger kittens or the smaller ones are her own litter. It has not mattered to our momma. She has loved and cared for us all. Her name is Kismet, and she and our fosters have worked together to make sure we are growing up healthy and happy. I was the biggest and most advanced of the kittens and soon became best buds with Linh, a slighter older kitten from the temple after his brother was adopted. He showed me all of the best games and he now like my big brother. We love to play with all the toys and the other cats, and we are very curious. We love to explore the house, looking into every corner. When I am done with playing and adventuring, my favourite thing is to snuggle with my foster people or Linh and my mom and siblings. Mom is telling us we are big kittens now and we need to lead our own lives, and with so many cats in my foster house, I am ready for my own home and people. I’m worried I will miss other cats though and think it would be great if Linh or one of my siblings could come live with me, too.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
