I am Sarita and I am a happy, friendly year old girl who loves human company, pets and a safe home environment. I was a house cat.  My fosters know that from my behaviour.  They were told I just turned up in the subdivision where they rescued me.  The people round about told them they believed I was dumped because I was pregnant.  I gave birth to and reared my kittens for a few weeks, living under a very broken down wooden deck in an elderly lady's yard.  She fed me and my kittens. when the were big enough to eat solid food.  I tried to get into her house, but she couldn't let me stay there so she called cars can and my fosters and another team member caught me and all of my kittens (as well as two possums and a big grey feral boy.  They released the possums and TNR'd the boy so he is back in his territory, but not making any more kittens).  When my fosters let me out of the trap in a room in their home I was  so happy.  There was a bed, and a carpet, and nice homey things.  I had missed these things so much I had to head rub them all to check they were real. And people to love and be loved by.  It was heaven.  This is what I want more anything.  A home of my own and my own people to love and be loved by.  I am grateful to my fosters and am enjoying being here, but I would love a quieter home where I didn't have to share the love so much.  Just me or maybe me and one other cat. I promise, if you want to be my people, you will have a very sweet, loving friend.

 

This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
