First, regarding our food (yum!).... We are eating dry "Meow Mix kitten" but love a little of our mom's favorite, Purina Gentle mixed in. We also are eating Fancy Feast canned several times a day - we do NOT like Turkey and Giblets - YUCK! We love a couple of ice cubes in our water, it is fun to watch and play with.
We both love a squeaky toy like a little mousie or a birdie to play with; we will throw it, thump it with our back feet or just walk around with it hanging out our mouth.
We also love playing with one of those tubes that makes crinkle sounds and if our toys are stashed it side even more fun. But we will zoom through the tube from one end to the other and back again. Sometimes we do that so much we have to stop a take a nap.
Another toy we like is the round plastic thing with the ball inside that no matter how hard we try we just can't get that thing out! But we will keep trying.
We like to be brushed; reminds us of mommy cleaning us. And of course, we love ear scratches and under the chin. We don't mind being held but because we are at this time only 9 1/2 weeks old, sitting still is rare. We would much rather be running, jumping at each other, playing with our big brother's tail and of course, we LOVE to climb. Our big brother (adopted of course) has a BIG kitty hotel, 4 levels with secret rooms and we get all the way to the top, play with the feathers that are hanging on it and climb out of the secret rooms window on the outside to get up to the next level. We really do look like monkey's when we play on that thing. And running, we are fast!
We are real good about using our liter box.
We were born outside on May 10, 2015 (Mother's Day) but our foster mom brought our kitty mom and us in the house within a few hours of us being born. Thank goodness cause it was sooooo hot outside. We were 2 of 5 but 3 did not survive. We are tiny like out mom; she is there at PetSmart waiting to get adopted too. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could all be together? But we will be happy to find a furrever home; staying together would be great but sometimes you can't.
Our names, Chip n Dale is because we zoom around like chipmunks is what our foster dad says. But mostly we have been called "babies".
We have not been fixed yet but as soon as we are big enough we will.... Until then we will just keep eating and playing.
